Evie and I are about to head to one of my favorite places for a 10 day vacation with Spyros’ side of the family. We are so fortunate to have a home away from home in Rhode Island, and I can’t wait to make memories with Evie while we’re there. Spyros will be flying with us this week and then heading home Sunday to get back to work – but – Evie and I are staying and waiting for him to meet us back up there once the following weekend hits!
After I worked out today, I rinsed off and immediately threw on my live in dress of the summer. I know the pattern I am wearing is out of stock, BUT they have a burgundy, black, and navy for fall! I literally wear this thing on repeat. It feels like pajamas, has pockets, and is in no way form fitting making running errands or whatever a breeze. I am 99% sure I will be wearing this in the airport tomorrow because it’s that comfortable and I know it will be easy to travel in. The side slit makes it feel trendy and somehow gives me the idea I truly put myself together. Bottom line: everyone needs this dress. It passes the sister test because Elise has it in a different color…it’s that good!

Currently, I am up to my ears in clothes to pack and trying not to stress about it. I’ve been trying on outfits for me to have planned out to wear during this weekend’s golf tournament festivities and then have tons of backups for other nights in at home, etc. My sisters-in-law and I have had a text thread going for a few weeks about dresses/tops/etc. that we want each other to bring!! Gotta love all of the girly goodness.
In case you were wondering how my brain works with packing, I’ll be honest and tell you I just keep a list on my iPhone and write things as I go along. I’m just hoping I don’t forget my bathing suits or something critical like that. Here’s a peek into my packing list!! And I cannot recommend this site enough for affordable and chic clothes – I can’t wait to stock up on some awesome fall trends!!

In typical fashion, I’ll be overpacking majorly for me and for Evie. Wish me luck!!!!
