It’s REVEAL DAY! Oh my gosh y’all I am so excited to show you all how our master bedroom turned out! Our bedroom looks 110% different than it did and I think it flows so well with the rest of our house. I get a little giddy every time I walk into our room now because I just love it so so much!
In case you’ve missed anything over the past six weeks here are all of the posts:
- Week One: Master Bedroom Revamp
- Week Two: My Inspiration
- Week Three: New Bedding
- Week Four: Wallpapering
- Week Five: The TV Wall
- Week Six: Recap
I think it’s only appropriate to star this post with an obligatory before photo…right?! So without further ado let me remind you of our master bedroom at the very start:
Insert me smiling so hard!!! Y’all – I love this room, I love this room, I love this room!!! Because before and after shots make me “oooh and ahhh” let’s keep going, shall we?
AFTER:Okay, that was fun. But now let’s just ooh and ahh over all the little details of this room together. Something that seemed like a small move that actually wound up working so well was widening the curtain rods to make our window and room appear much bigger. It was something one of my girlfriends and mom suggested to me and I had never thought about it but I am so thankful that we did it because it definitely has made all the difference. The new curtains are also amazing, they are a thick velvet adding some cool texture to the room!
I hadn’t really paid much attention to this little corner in the room and I am happy with how the wooden antlers bring it to life. I added that platter last minute so the antlers didn’t float in space and I think it brings it all together.
I am still swooning over my white bedding. The quilt, shams, and decorative pillow were just what we needed to brighten up this room. Once I had the bedding set up, I realized the decorative pillow needed a little something extra. Enter: Letter Perfect Monograms located at Cotswold Marketplace if you’re local to Charlotte.
So glad we decided to splurge a little to mount our TV…it makes all the difference and I’ve loved being able to style the dresser to the rustic vibe of our room while also having more storage for my things!
Y’all. I am ridiculously happy with how this room turned out. I cannot believe I pulled off my first One Room Challenge and am so very thankful that I decided to participate! This was such a wonderful way to work with new brands, meet great people, dive deep into my interior decor loving ways, and bring my vision for this room to life! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for following along on this journey with me…dare I say I want to do this again in the spring?!
