Week 3! Holy moly we’re halfway through and we haven’t even painted the room yet. Yikes! Luckily I did some hardcore cleaning up and clearing out, so that counts for something. I don’t want to do too much more until we paint because the furniture is going to all be pushed to the center of the room anyway. So here’s a real look into what the room looks like now at the halfway point and what lovely items have arrived at my doorstep in the meantime waiting to be added to the room.
To get the full effect of how messy it was (as it was formerly the close-the-door-and-pretend-the-mess-doesn’t-exist room) on day one, reference the first week’s post!
Crib | Curtains, c/o | Mobile (similar) | Chest (similar)
Sure, maybe I relocated some stuff to be piled in the crib for the time being, but for the most part, this is big progress!!! This preggo was sweating during the nursery clean out. That’s for sure.
I cannot wait to get all of this new loot situated into the room. I am really excited about those darker fixtures and think they will contrast so nicely against the soon-to-be white walls! Also — any idea what I’m doing with those decals?! I’m sure my ORC Pinterest board fills you in very quickly! 😉
Truth be told, I won’t get too much done this next week as I’m out of town for the weekend and back in time to celebrate a very special little girl’s second birthday on Monday. My mind won’t be on the ORC as much has it should be. So just know that this is me cutting it close and getting to crunch time. But hey, I can handle it! I work much better under pressure anyway. Cannot wait to pull all of this together and officially make it Sterling’s Nursery!
A huge THANK YOU to these brands and shops who have graciously sponsored or provided products in support of this One Room Challenge. (And thank YOU for supporting the brands who support HHH and keep this little space alive + well!)
