A couple weekends ago we ventured to the pumpkin patch with our little families. It was our first time trekking to Wise Acres Organic Farm, and it definitely will not be our last! We lucked out going on a humid, drizzly day because that made for a lot less of a crowd. There was SO much for the kids to do. We spent all morning there and stayed through lunch.
Somebody snoozed for much of the time.
The humidity made for some amazing baby girl curls. Evie’s hair doesn’t get this ringlet-y on the reg, so we were swooning over these little locks!
Sterling thinks my mom is the funniest person in the world. He constantly is laughing whenever she is around! It’s the sweetest thing.
Hope’s Shirt (on sale for $24.99 PLUS an additional 30% off making it $17.49!!!)
Did we mention there’s homemade pizza at Wise Acres…?
There happened to be a food truck that day too, so we got a few “apps” while we waited. The pizza took 45 minutes but was WELL worth the wait. My father in law said it was the best pizza he’s ever had. And it’s not as big of a deal to wait a while for pizza when you’re not stuck in a resataurant — the kids ran free and played hard while we waited!
The zucchini and pesto pizza was my favorite for sure.
It was such a fun day! Nancy was very decisive when picking her pumpkin. It sits proudly on our front porch, and it just makes my mama heart so happy that she picked it “all by herself” (of course). I think we’re gonna have to head back out to Wise Acres Organic Farm for strawberry season…it was too fun to wait another year to return!
